Chauvin Arnoux CA6255 Micro Ohmmeter
The Chauvin Arnoux CA6255 Micro Ohmmeter measures electrical resistance up to 2500Ω with a resolution of up to 0.1µΩ thanks to its four-wire measurement method. The test current is adjustable between 10A and 1mA, thus allowing testing across seven ranges with varying degrees of precision, as required by the user. This makes it ideal for evaluating all manner of electrical connections and joints and accuracy of ±0.05% + 1µΩ means that the tester provides accurate, high-precision results every time.Temperature compensation is an important function of the Chauvin Arnoux CA6255. A Pt100 probe measures ambient temperature and therefore automatically compensates for different conditions as well as for stray voltages. Three measurement modes (non-inductive, inductive, non-inductive with auto trigger) tailor measurement to specific functions for example for resistors with a time constant, inductive components, resistors without a time constant and production components. These capabilities have applications for testing windings, surface finish and metallisation processes, chassis-earth continuity, contact quality, cable resistance, motors and transformers, and mechanical linkage. The Chauvin Arnoux CA6255 has a large, backlit LCD display capable of showing a resistance reading, ambient temperature and assorted other information simultaneously.
